May Residential Sales Statistics

In Tucson, June is the traditionally month when the most sales close. Those sales got into escrow in April and May. Things will start to get slower now and then start to pick up in January. Here are the Residential Sales Statistics for May from the Tucson Association of Realtors.

This year, instead of steadily building toward the annual peak in sales activity in June, there were 6% fewer closings in May than in April. 

A few of my colleagues at Tierra Antigua have been sending mass emails to the other agents in the company asking where the buyers are. Some agents are reporting few showings on their houses.
