Old Friends Get a New Home

I must tell as many people as I can who are interested in purchasing a home in and around Tucson, AZ.  I just had the best experience with what I call the "Power Team" of Donna Moulton and Catherine Ellinwood.  I contacted Donna first, as a long time and trusted friend who I knew was a realtor in town.  I know a lot of other realtors, but without a moment's hesitation I chose Donna. 

So we went house hunting. After we went to houses for about three days, we honed in on a perfect house for us.  She went ahead and called her chosen loan officer from People's Mortgage, who she's been working with for over 15 years.  Catherine worked absolute miracles.  She knew about all of the types of loans we could get out there.  She checked each one and came up with an amazing deal for us with a great low interest rate.  The entire process has been seamless, from returning calls, prompt emails, to just basically being there every step of the way.  We have now signed at Title Security Company, which also went very well. Everything there (Donna was there of course) was explained to us. 

Donna brought over our keys even two hours ahead of the time she said.  I highly recommend getting your house with the "Power Team" of Donna & Catherine!

Donna is a really excellent Realtor. Donna did a wonderful job of advertising my home. She posted 50 photos, taken by a professional photographer, online, and had a guy come do a complete floor plan, which also helped buyers visualize my house. She had me write a short explanation of what I love about my house and the neighborhood and what's available nearby, which she also put online. I highly recommend her. She is easy to work with and not fussy. A woman from Oregon bought my house, sight unseen, based on all the promo done by Donna. It sold in a week! She's a real professional. Lost a Neighbor, Kept a Friend

After waiting four years in the housing crisis for the house to sell, we decided to list again with Donna. She is the most amazing person and wonderful realtor. Her knowledge about the market helped us to create realistic expectations for the sale of our home, and it did, in fact, sell! Finally!!! Although Donna is not the one who found the buyer, she made the sale of our home possible by 1. Giving us suggestions about how to prepare it for the market. 2. This is an unqualified endorsement of Donna Moulton. There are few times in a life when one encounters a person who is a credit to their profession and Ms. Moulton is among that small group. As an out of state buyer, I was lucky to find Donna through a friend of a friend. I bought the condo I was hoping to find with a minimum of hassle. She is very smart, thorough, proactive, consistently efficient and extremely personable. I never felt she was pushing me into a sale, and several times, she discouraged me from further investigating a listing. (I believe it was because sheunderstood my preferences.) Bought Their Vacation Home Sight Unseen

I was referred to Donna Moulton in 2005 by a mutual friend. My husband and I were interested in purchasing a townhome that we could use as a winter getaway. We were in New England, and it just wasn’t possible to go look at each property that interested us. We knew we wanted to be centrally-located and we gave Donna a few criteria.

Donna and I both kept an eye on the MLS listings, and if something looked promising, she would tour the property, take many photos of the inside, outside, and the neighborhood, and send them to me immediately. Most of the time, she recommended against purchasing a particular property. The neighborhood might not be what we wanted, or the floor plan was funky, the views were not good, etc etc. Donna has a great sensibility when it comes to real estate, and I grew to trust it.

Eventually a property came up and the listing looked promising. She immediately went to take a look and reported that “this is the one.” We purchased the property without seeing it firsthand!!!! It sounds crazy, but I never hesitated. When we saw it a few months after buying it, there were no surprises. It was exactly what we expected.

We eventually moved to Tucson full time and Donna helped us purchase another property. We kept our little winter getaway, and it may eventually become our retirement home when we scale down.

I recommend Donna highly. She is trustworthy, and she understands the real estate market like no one else. I think her science background gives her the edge when it comes to analyzing properties and the market in general. She really looks after her clients’ best interests.
